This method aims to remove both oil-soluble and water-soluble impurities more thoroughly.<\/p>\n<p>Oil-based cleansers are effective at breaking down makeup, water-resistant sunscreen and excess sebum. Apply it to a dry face, massage gently, then emulsify with a little water before rinsing. After that, follow with a gentle water-based cleanser to remove remaining dirt and residue from the previous product.<\/p>\n<p>Double cleansing is most beneficial at night, especially if you wear makeup or sunscreen throughout the day. In the morning, a single cleanse with a gentle cleanser is generally enough.
